Hipster Fashion

As I mentioned in a previous post I am fascinated by the term 'Hipster' and what a being a hipster actually is?
I have done a lil bit of research and have discovered that I totally LOVE the hipster look!
Here's my definition of a hipster...
A hipster is a person who has independent thinking, music taste, fashion, political views and a sense of creativity and appreciation of art.
Although "hipsterism" is really a state of mind,it is also often intertwined with distinct fashion sensibilities. Hipsters reject the culturally-ignorant attitudes of mainstream consumers, and are often be seen wearing vintage and thrift store inspired fashions, tight-fitting jeans, old-school sneakers, and sometimes thick rimmed glasses. Both hipster men and women sport similar androgynous hair styles that include combinations of messy shag cuts and asymmetric side-swept bangs. Such styles are often associated with the work of creative stylists at urban salons, and are usually too "edgy" for the culturally-sheltered mainstream consumer.

I think Hipsters are awesome and have no clue why people take the mic out of them!?

Hipster Fashions I Love...
Skinny Jeans
I love skinny jeans, I think they are great! They're so versatile and can be worn with anything!
I especially love the look in this picture. I love the books with the skinny jeans and the really easy to wear top. Big thumbs up from me :)

Ray bans/think rimmed glasses

Cannot wait till summer again so I can buy a pair of these!
Authentic Ray Bans are also very hipster-ish.

Here's some pics to give you a basic idea of hipster fashions. I find that Topshop is actually great for hipster-ish clothes!
The definition of awesome!

I hope this post has given you some idea about hipster fashion :) I certainly feel very Hipster educated now!
