'Good Things Bright Eyes Eye Cream' Review

Hello Lovelies!

Due to my hereditary dark circles under my eyes, I decided to *finally* do something about them, as piling a heap of concealer onto my under eye area everyday was becoming slightly wearing.

I have tried the 'Good Things Face Wipes' before. They smelt heavenly but irritated my skin and the smell went to a kind of stale raspberry smell after a couple of weeks.

Not having much luck with the face wipes I decided to chance it and purchase the 'Good Things Eye Cream'.
On the back of the pack it says to apply every morning and night, which I have been doing for the past few weeks. Besides the product smelling, once again, heavenly, I haven't noticed much of a difference. I have read some other really good reviews about this product, and I think it is a good product as I have noticed a slight difference.

Despite some negativity I have found this product very soothing on my under eye area and I has reduced puffiness, just not dark circles.

I would totally recommend this product to anyone looking to get rid of puffy under eye area, but not to combat dark circles.

'Good Things Bright Eyes Eye Cream' is £5.99 which is a pretty good price me thinks.

I hope you've found my review helpful! Let me know in the comments your experience of this product and any under eye creams you have loved/hated!

Prom!

Prom and the end of school have finally come around! Only feels like yesterday I was saying, 'Its prom in a year, what shall I wear!?' (Very forward planning I know!;) ) At the moment I'm in the midst of my GCSEs... not fun. Less than a month to go and then a summer full of blogging!

So finally I have decided to write a blog post to give you some makeup/ dress inspiration if you have a prom up and coming. Or maybe this post will give you some ideas even if your prom is a year or two away! When it comes to prom I'm very forward planning, any excuse to get dressed up and I'm there!

Eye Makeup

1- Topshop eye crayon in 'Marble.' In love with Topshop's eye crayons at the moment! Works as such a good base for any eyeshadow and adds that extra bit of glitter.
2- Collection 2000 Extreme felt tip liner. Felt tip liners are the easier type of eyeliner to use, especially if you have a shaky hand (like me)
3- Maybelline Volum' Express Mascara- So volumizing and a really good price considering the quality of the product (being very good!)

Colour 1- I put this shimmery goldy colour all over my lid on top of my Topshop Marble eye crayon (see below) to add some extra sparkle.
Colour 2- I used this colour in the outer third of my eye to add some definition
Colour 3- I used this colour in the inner corner of my eye
Colour 4- I used this colour in my crease (and also as an eyebrow fill in!)

Face
My prom makeup plan (obviously not quite as red on the cheeks!)

17 BB cream in Medium- I LOVE this make of BB cream! It's has such a smooth finish without being shiny, perfect for photographs!

Topshop 'Morning Dew' cream blusher- I recently purchased this product and I've completely fallen in love with it! Admittedly it does look like a bit of a bright scary colour, but blended out it looks so pretty and natural with a hint of shimmer!

 Lips

MAC  Crosswires  lipstick- I also recently purchased my very first MAC lipstick! *rejoice!* This colour is so pretty with a hint of gloss. It stays on for ages which saves constantly reapplying. It is a similar colour to my dress but not matching.

Dress

Sorry about the awful photo!

Black strip round the bodice with bow and black sequins
I purchased this dress in Jane Norman for £50... bargain!

My shoes are from Barratts for £20! Another bargain!

Overall prom was great and everyone looked so gorgeous! I hope you have enjoyed this post and found it helpful if you are getting prepared for prom! :)
